Millennium Precision is seeking new Team Members to help in our manufacturing operations. We are a growing, Employee focused, Contract Manufacturer of precision Swiss style machined components for multiple markets.
Our current open position(s) are:
Manufacturing Engineer:
This is a hands on position requiring five plus years of CNC programming, knowledge of M and G codes, feeds speeds, surface finishes, cutting tool applications and machine set-up. Must possess the ability to work from design prints, calculate feeds and speeds, cycle times, select cutting tools, collets, guide bushings, program CNC codes, document processes, set-up Swiss style lathes, prove out the program, optimize the process and train operators on the process.
Requirements:
- Five to ten years manufacturing engineering experience to include several years CNC programming, preferably with Swiss style lathes supporting machining process developments and improvements within regulated industries.
- Solid knowledge of metal cutting tools geometry and applications.
- High speed machining experience.
- CAD/CAM software experience. Experience with SolidWorks preferred.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated time management skills in oversight of multiple priorities.
- Ability to train and motivate operators in established manufacturing standard work procedures
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline.
Swiss CNC Operator
Capable of utilizing Swiss CNC lathes to produce complex components in varied types of materials.
* 2+ years experience on Swiss machines
* Experience with Mitsubishi controls a plus
* Team oriented!
* Citizen lathe experience preferred
* Familiar with ISO requirements
Swiss CNC Setup/Programmer
Capable of utilizing Swiss CNC lathes to produce complex components in varied types of materials, from print to part.
* 4+ years experience on Swiss machines
* Experience with Mitsubishi controls a plus
* Team oriented!
* Citizen lathe experience preferred
* Familiar with ISO requirements
